DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a means for reducing wave-making resistance due to a ship's hull. A method has already been put into practice in which the bow hull of a ship is made into a spherical bow and the propulsion resistance is reduced by utilizing the interference between the waves generated from the spherical bow and the waves generated from the rear part of the hull. In addition, a method for reducing the wave-making resistance of a ship by attaching an object to the stern and measuring the interference between the waves generated by the object and the waves generated from the hull in front of the object is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 155-155. 83677@ l "Method and device for reducing wave-making resistance of ships" has been published. In other words, according to the same bulletin, an appropriate number of parts are installed so that the rear end extends behind the most aft point of the load water line of the hull, and at least a portion is below the load water line. A method is described in which a protrusion is provided at the rear of the hull to reduce wave-making resistance.

According to the invention, waves generated from the rear end of the ship's hull and waves generated from the protrusion interfere with the waves, and the phase relationship of both waves is reversed. According to the attached drawings and explanations of Ff'J, the shape of the object is about 1 to 3% of the length of the ship, the width is smaller than the length, and the height and length are made up of smooth curves. The invention is based on a streamlined shape with a smaller width.

Therefore, if waves are generated from one or more points on the rear end of the ship, the above-mentioned protrusions are provided at each of the points where waves are generated to reduce waves and wave-making resistance. be able to.

On the other hand, the present invention is similar to the disclosed invention in that a protrusion is provided at the rear of the hull at the rearmost position of the load water line of the hull, but the present invention is particularly advantageous in that the lower surface of the protrusion has a flat shape. It is characterized by its four sides having a flannel shape, and the width of the rear end of the stern at the fully loaded waterline is particularly wide, so the stern waves are generated at the stern wave. This invention was devised as a device for effectively reducing waves not in the above-mentioned points but in cases where waves spread in the lateral direction of the ship's hull. The present invention will be described below.

The present invention is intended to reduce the waves J5 and vortices generated at the stern without reducing the resistance, and in order to confirm the effect, an appendage with a flat bottom was installed immediately after the rear end of the hull, and tank test 1 was carried out. - was done. Figures 1 and 2 are schematic diagrams of the hull form for the tank test - an IC model in which the E1 addition A is mounted horizontally so that the lower surface of the C1 addition is located below the load water line. As shown in the figure, there is a step of approximately 0.5 m between the stern bottom and the lower surface of appendage A. If there were no appendage, many waves and vortices would occur immediately after the stern, forming a wake. The generation of waves and vortices is suppressed by installing and covering the position where these waves and vortices occur with an appendage of a size corresponding to that size so that its lower surface is below the water surface.

As a result of this tank test, the size and position of the appendage is approximately 0.5 to 1 times the width F3 of the rear end of the full load waterline.
It is considered to be effective when the length is 1 to 3% L pp (length between hull perpendiculars), and it must be attached to the stern shell plate without N1 of the hull stern, and at least the stone surface must be in the shape of a flat plate that is close to horizontal.
In addition, it is necessary to form a lower surface in a place where the water surface has been submerged several hundred times. If the lower surface of the appendage is submerged considerably below the water line, it will move effectively to reduce stern waves and vortices. It seems that there is no such thing. Figure 4 shows 4=J, which is attached to an arm rod 4 fixed to the rear part of the hull 1 so as to be able to adjust the depth of the lower surface of the filler (=1), which is attached to a support having a filler A at the lower end. This is an example in which the rod 5 is supported in a vertically movable manner, and the depth of the bottom surface of the appendage Δ can be adjusted. Also, the appendage can be folded down along the stern shell. , it can also be stored along the outer panel when not in use. Figures 5 (a) and (b) show the following:
The definition of the hull aft width B at the full load water line, which is the standard for determining the width of the appendage, is shown for two types of molded stern shapes.

As understood from the above description, the present invention is an object that is attached to the stern outer plate above the hull centerline and whose lower surface forms a substantially horizontal and flat surface, and the lower surface has a width B at the rear end of the hull at the load water line. The hull resistance reducing device has a width of about 0.5 to 1 times and a length corresponding to 1 to 3% Lpp, and is configured to be located several hundred points below the load water line. As a result of suppressing the generation of rolling waves and vortices, the effect of reducing hull resistance can be obtained. This effect is particularly noticeable at high speeds.
