Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はカラーテレビカメラのガンマ補正装置に関する
。
従来カラーテレビカメラは、カラーモニタを含めた記録
・再生系全体でガンマ（入出力特性）を１にする必要が
ある。一方撮像紫子（固体撮像素子や撮像管等）はそれ
ぞれ個有のガンマ特性を持っている為にカラーテレビカ
メラにガンマ補正装置を備え、記録・再生系全体でガン
マが１になる様に調整する様釦なっている。
第１図は従来のカラーテレビカメラに設けられるガンマ
補正装置を示すブロック図であって１゜２．３は、直流
り生しだ色成分信号Ｒ，Ｙ、Ｂ。
にそれぞれ個別にガンマ補正を行うカンマ補正回路、４
，５は色差マ）　ＩＪクス、６，７は色差信号Ｒ−Ｙ、
Ｂ−Ｙを位相９０°及びＯｏのサブキャリアによりそれ
ぞれ２重平衡変調する変調器、８は前記変調器６及び７
の出力を混合し、搬送電信、号を作る混合回路、９は前
記搬送色信号と輝度信号とを混合す、：Ｊ混合回路、１
０は同期信号やカラーバーストを混合する混合回路、１
１は出力増幅器でＮＴＳＣ信号を出力する。
上述の如〈従来はそれぞれの色成分信号にガンマ補正を
行っていた為各色成分間のガンマ特性を一致させること
がむずかしく、その調帯に多くの時間がかかるという欠
点があった。各色成分間のガンマ特性が一致していない
と無彩色の破写体に信号レベルによって個有の色が焉〈
ことになり画質が著しく低下してしまうので前記調整に
は多くの時間をかけざるを得なかった。
本発明は上記欠点を解決し、調整が極めて簡単なカラー
テレビカメラのガンマ補正装置ヲ得ることを目的とする
。
第２図は本発明による実施例を示し、第１図と同符号は
同効部材を表わす。
１２ｉｄ混合回路８より出力される搬送色信号の利得を
制御する利得制御回路、１３はレベルスライス回路で輝
度信号のレベルによって前記利得制御回路１２へ制御信
号を出力するようになっている。そしテ、一定レベル（
レベルスライスｌＥ［ニＪニッチ定壕る）以上の輝度信
号レベルについてレベルが大きくなる程利得制御回路１
２の利得が小さくなるように制御してガンマ補正を行う
ようになっている。
尚実施例はＮＴＳＣ方式によるものについて説明したが
ＰＡＬ方式によるものにも本発明は適用できる。また本
実施例では撮像累子からの色成分信号としてＲ，Ｙ、Ｂ
信号を示したがこれは勿論Ｒ，Ｇ、Ｂ信号でも良い。
以上のように本発明によればガンマ補正がレベルスライ
ス回路１３及び利得制御回路１２により搬送色信号の段
階で行なわれるため調整が一本化され、極めてやり易く
、また回路も簡単になる、

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. ガンマ補正をかけない色成分信号を入力して２つの色差
    信号を出力する色差マトリクスと、前記色差信号をそれ
    ぞれ平衡変調する２つの平衡変調器と、該２つの平衡変
    調器の出力を混合して搬送色信号を出力する混合器と、
    該混合器より出方される搬送色信号を輝度信号のレベル
    に応じて利得制御する利得制御器とを備えることを特徴
    とするカラーテレビカメラのガンマ補正装置。
