Abstract

PURPOSE:To reproduce a data signal and a video signal while keeping the relation of time at recording, by recording the PCM data and video signals on the same track. CONSTITUTION:The video signal from a camera 1 becomes a signal in which the beginning and the end of one horizontal and vertical scanning period of a picture signal are missing with a signal from a window signal generator 10. The data from input terminals A1-An are A/D-converted and pulse-code-modulated at an encoder 6, only when the picture signal is missing. This signal and the video signal are summed at an adder 3, outputted as a consecutive signal and recorded. The video signal and the PCM signal are separated with each other with the window signal at reproduction, allowing to obtain the video signal and the data signal separately.
