Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize considerable labour saving by adopting semiautomatic liquid draining and gas purging through the use of push-button switch when each of operations of nitrogen gas valve and gas escape valve is started. CONSTITUTION:Push-button switch 36 is pressed to open N2 gas valve AV-6 and gas escape valves AV-4 and AV-5. Then, N2 gas from nitrogen gas source 24 will simultaneously fill the shore side feed line 3 and shore side return line 13 via feed line 22 and lines 26, 28 and loading arms 1, 17, and will be further led to flare lines 10, 16. Accordingly, simple operation can secure reliable operation as only push-button switch 36 needs to be operated everytime shore side valves AV-1 to AV-6 are started in operation.

Draining liquid inside the loading arm and replacing N2 gas are necessary every time a ship enters the ship. Conventionally, this work was performed by workers manually operating valves, etc.
For this purpose, it is necessary to place a large number of work tools in various places, and there is a problem with the reliability of operation because it is manual operation, and the work is extremely dangerous in the event of an accident or when a typhoon approaches, etc. I had this problem.

The present invention was made to solve these conventional problems, and includes providing a detour flow path equipped with a drop valve that bypasses the main shutoff valve in the cost liquid transfer pipe, and a hot gas supply pipe in the ship side liquid transfer pipe. A nitrogen gas valve is provided for communicating with the inboard arm side of the loading arm so that the liquid in the inboard arm side falls onto the land side, and for introducing nitrogen gas into the loading arm via the nitrogen gas valve. In addition to providing a gas inlet pipe, a flare line equipped with a gas relief valve is connected to the detour passage to enable gas purging of the loading arm. This invention relates to a liquid dripping device and a gas purge device in the loading arm, which enable labor-saving, reliability, and improved safety of the work.
