Abstract

PURPOSE:A composition containing ascorbic acid that is prepared by adding a coix seed extract to ascorbic acid or its derivative, thus stabilizing the ascorbic acid, showing a high skin color-lightening effect and being suitable for use in skin cosmetics and beverage. CONSTITUTION:Coix seeds are extracted with water, a hydrophilic organic solvent or their mixture and the resultant extract is added to a composition containing ascorbic acid or its derivative to give the objective composition. In the composition, the content of ascorbic acid or its derivative is 0.05-10wt%, preferably 0.1-5wt% and coix seed extract is 0.1-20%, preferably 0.5-10%. The ratio of ascorbic acid to the extract is 1/1-1/100, preferably 1/5-1/50.

がら、これらの方法は未だ充分満足のゆくものではなか

るため、その安全性も非常に高いものである。

法によりおこなった。
