Said member receives the cable in the open position by said member, holds the cable in said cutting or piercing means, and presses the cable against the cutting or passing means when said member is moved to the closed position. 5, so that when the two members are closed, both assembly means are connected to the cable II! 3. A terminal is made for the cutting or threading means which is cut or penetrated through the fin to contact the conductor and make an electrical connection. This connector allows a single cable to be connected midway between both ends of the couple without destroying the cable. This becomes clear when the Km device is connected to the communication cable - 141 ->44'.

In a preferred arrangement, one of the die members is a die member formed with a diameter groove for receiving the highway cable against lateral force 11 movement;
4. The ten steps of cutting or cutting have at least one special two-point point protruding from the base of the groove. For the other auxiliary 1 members, place the front distribution point or the edge of the cable relay to the ground and connect it to the conductor.
It has a ram positioned to sometimes carry the cable and constrain it in the groove and over the needle point. l pairs of members are hinged to each other on the chest with axes parallel to the grooves;
The ram is preferably mounted on said other member so as to be able to move linearly into the groove at least over the arc of relative movement of the member into the closed position.

In one embodiment of the connector that makes the connection to the screen and core conductor of the coaxial cable, the auxiliary cutting or piercing means includes a first needle point located in the center of the groove, an electrically insulating coating excluding the tip and a center of the groove. a second needle point arranged parallel to the first needle point disengaged from the cage, so that upon movement of said member to the closed position;
The first needle passes through the insulation of the cable and makes electrical contact with only the core conductor, unlike the screen conductor.

It is located off-center in the groove, but spills into the groove away from the second needle point. Since the screen conductor of a coaxial cable usually has a loose single conductor structure, it is imperative that the second needle point does not come into contact with the screen conductor of the coaxial cable. be. By providing two electrically connected inter-ILJ needle points, the risk of not making contact with the screen conductor is reduced.

The ram has a pair of studs 18 on each sieve that fit into pairs 19 provided through one flange 14 of the S member 11. As shown in FIG. 2, the spherical stud is placed in the middle of the web piece 15 of the member IJ. The upper edge 21 of the ram 16 is machined to have six cylindrical rings (1 to 5) as shown in the first factor. Place t[c
At one time, the groove is horizontal, so when part #11 is in the closed position, the groove is vertical. 24 and 25 (see figure 2) are provided at the base 4 of the groove 13. Each of the needle points 23 to δ is arranged parallel to its true slenderness and across its length. The needle point is located in the center of the groove and has a diameter no larger than a fraction of the diameter of the coaxial highway cable with which the connector is to be used. The needle point is provided with electrical insulation covering most of its length above the groove 130 substrate, except at the tip. The insulating coating is preferably applied by coating the needle with a glass frit, drying the blood-stained needle with fire, and vitrifying the frit as a glass coating on the surface of the needle point. It is a thin glass with a thickness of several microns.

Each of the needle points 25 is uncoated. These are provided so as to be parallel to the needle points 2 and 3, but as shown in FIG. 2, they are spaced apart from each other by nine drops in the direction of the groove. The determination of the needle point 25 fIt with respect to the center of the groove 13 is very precise. It is important that the needle point, 25, is not so close to the centerline of the groove that it can contact the core return of the four-axis highway cable with which the present connector is to be used. On the other hand, the needle point S, 25, is not so close to the narrow surface of the groove 13 that it does not provide the external insulation of the coaxial cable to the light beam in contact with the screen conductor of the pull. The needle pointer is connected via quadruplets to the core conductor of the coaxial cable dedicated to the equipment desired to be connected to the highway cable KM by means of this connector. Two needle points 25 are thinly connected to the screen conductor of the coaxial cable through long terminals.

In operation, the connector of Figure 1 is presented to the highway cable in which connection with the one-piece IJ is desired in the open position as shown in Figure 1, with the highway cable in groove 1.
111-Become a god-man. The member 11 is fixed to the base plate member LO by rotating once with the force Kt in FIG. 1. Due to the (a) stopping movement of the member 11, the ram 16 enters the groove 13, and the concave Stt blood 17 of the ram supports the upper surface of the highway Φ cable in the groove. Ram 16 is fully rcc in highway cable or trench
Press the needle A2 until the specific pressure reaches the position (capital) in Figure 1.
3. Push the highway cable into the groove so that it is threaded through X by 24 and δrc. In this position, the needle points through the outer insulation and screen conductor of the highway cable. However, the insulating coating on the needle point prevents electrical contact between the screen conductors of the highway fist cable. The needle-scored uninsulated chip grave makes electrical contact with the core conductor of the highway cable as shown in Figure ag1. The two off-center needle points, 25, are in contact with the outer insulating run of the highway cable, at least 1' of which normally contacts one screen return of the cable. Electrical contact is thus made between the core of the highway cable and the screen conductor without destroying the cable.

When the member 11 is closed, the hemispherical stud carries the convex cylindrical end 21 of the ram 16. The recess slot in the flange 14 of member 1 causes the ram 16 to move angularly relative to the member 11, so that the ram 16 causes downward movement into the member 13 at least beyond the final arc of the closing movement of the member 11. You can take it. The outer edge of the groove 13 on m- of the groove adjacent to the pivot 12 is rounded into an arc shape as shown in FIG. There is.

V-shaped metal members 37, 38 are provided with grooves 32, 38 to receive respective wires of the cable. 33 each and one night 1j. The ■-shaped members 37, 38 are spaced apart along the grooves 32, 33 as shown. The member (9) is centered on the block Ω and is formed in the area of the groove 32, 33 and the V-shaped member 37, 38 from K, centered on the block Ω. Two pairs of pressure blocks 44.
45 as shown in the figure, so that when the member 31 for closing one connector is pivoted, the block pairs 4 and 45 are formed on the flesh of the 1-shaped part and the cable is engages each wire and connects the sled wire to the V-shape s of the member.
Press K. The (1)-shaped members 37 and 38 are formed with inward edges that raise the insulating cover of the wire as the wire is pushed down to the base of the V-shaped part (]L!1.Each member The base of the V in the highway cable is so small that it is smaller than just behind the conductor in each wire of the highway cable, so that when the 1% wire is pushed completely down into the V, the insulating cover is not completely displaced. The wire is connected to the conductor by means of the ν-shaped member.
The inward edges of the 7.38 V-section do not need to be as sharp as a razor blade.

Very sharp members tend to cut right angles through the metal conductor of the wire. Thus, the inwardly directed edges of the v-shaped portions have generally flat ridges that are either parallel or at an angle to the wires held together by the v-shaped members. The ring of edges is similar to that of one edge of a pair of scissors.
