せる直接燃料噴射式ディーゼル機関において、上記ピス
トンとは別体の耐熱性合金からなり上記キャビティーの
壁部に固着されると共に少なくとも底部外周面がピスト
ンの冷却室内に臨んだ旧金内に、上記キャビティーの壁
面に上記燃料噴射ノズルの噴孔の噴射方向に対向して形
成され上記噴孔より噴射される噴霧の中心部を受容する
凹陥部を備えたことを特徴とする直接燃料噴射式ディー
