Claims (1)
ィ燃焼室に先端が臨むようにシリンダヘッドに取り付け
た燃料噴射ノズルとを備えた直噴式ディーゼル機関にお
いて、前記キャビティ燃焼室がピストン頂部の略中心位
置に設けた第1のキャビティ燃焼室および該第1のキャ
ビティ燃焼室の開口上部に連続しかつその第1のキャビ
ティ燃焼室より開口径が大きい第2のキャビティ燃焼室
からなり、該第2のキャビティ燃焼室の底面を、燃料噴
射ノズルからの燃料噴霧の流線に略一致するように構成
したことを特徴とする直噴式ディーゼル機関。In a direct injection diesel engine equipped with a cavity combustion chamber provided at the top of the piston and a fuel injection nozzle attached to the cylinder head so that its tip faces the cavity combustion chamber, the cavity combustion chamber is located approximately at the center of the piston top.
