Abstract

PURPOSE:To exactly execute the retransmission in response to a request for the retransmittion of an error block, by continuously sending out an acknowledge signal of frequency unless there is an error of a received data, and stopping the acknowledged signal for a short time when an error has been detected. CONSTITUTION:An input data is written in buffer memories 1-3 by a block unit under the control of a write controlling circuit. Each data block of the memories 1-3 is read out in order under the control of a read-out controlling circuit 5 in accordance with an acknowledged signal ACK from the receiving side, which has been detected by an ACK signal detector 6, a block number, a CRC bit, etc. are added to this data block by a transmission data forming circuit 7, and it is transmitted. The receiving side writes said sent data in buffer memories 10-30 at every block through a shift register 11. Unless an error is detected 18 in the block, single frequency is sent continuously to the sending side from an ACK signal generating circuit 19. If an error is detected 18 in the block, the ACK signal is stopped for a short time. When the sending side has detected 6 that there is no ACK signal, a data of the block concerned is retransmitted.
