Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for long electric wiring by providing a charger and feed part with electric contact members respectively, and by connecting and disconnecting the electric contact members when the upper and lower housings of a copying machine are coupled together. CONSTITUTION:To chargers 16 and 17 for discharging and charging, a high- voltage transformer 32 is connected through wiring 31, and to the high-voltage transformer 32, a feed part 34 is also connected through wiring 33. When the upper and lower housings 12 and 13 of a copying machine body 11 are coupled together, raised parts 30 of terminals 29 of chargers 18 and 19 for transfer and peeling are inserted into the case 35 of the feed part 34 to press a conductive blade 37 from a broken-line position up to a solid-line position, and consequently connections and disconnections are made by the elasticity of the conductive blade 37, thus obtaining electric continuity.
