Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the completion of charging of an electric appliance to be charged with an auxiliary device by providing a direct current source device with the auxiliary device to operate the with the auxiliary device with the output of the direct current source device and to charge a battery in the appliance to be charged. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary device such as watch unit 19 is connected in parallel with a trnsformer 17 of a direct current source device and rectifier bridge 18, and connected to a connector 16. The watch unit 19 is operated by an electric source in the direct current source device. When an electric appliance such as electic shaver 1 is charged, the insertion of plug pins 8, 8' to plug edges 15 disconnects a plug connecting spring 9 and plug pin 8' with an insulating part of the peripheral part 30 of the connector 16, thus the motor will not operate in spite of the operation of a switch 4, and a storage battery 5 and direct current source device form a closed circuit to charge the storage battery 5.
