Abstract
PURPOSE: To smoothly perform dehumidification and dehumidification regeneration by forming a honeycomb type cylindrical rotor dehumidifying element by a fiber sheet, using a part of the element for dehumidification and the remaining part for dehumidification regeneration, and depriving cooling water in the cooling facilities of its evaporation latent heat by dehumidified air to cool the same.
CONSTITUTION: The honeycomb cylindrical rotor dehumidifying element 1 is formed from a hydrophilic fiber sheet made of an active carbon fiber or the like, and air to be dehumidified is supplied to a continuous air passage from the direction C to dehumify the air. The dehumidified air is sent from the duct 3 into a cool water cylinder of the cooling facilities, and deprives evaporation latent heat of water in the cooling system to cool the water and produce water for cooling. On the other hand, the hot air for dehumidification regeneration is supplied from the direction A to the continuous air passage 4 as the element 1 is rotated, and the water content in the dehumidified fiber sheet is removed and discharged out of the duct 6.
