Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain desired PWM.DSB waves, by obtaining PWM full-wave rectified waves, which have a pulse width corresponding to amplification of an input signal, from the input signal and controlling the switching by signals, which are obtained by dividing these obtained waves into two and inverting their phases alternately.
CONSTITUTION: When an input signal exists, the input signal and a saw-tooth wave (clock) are compared in every positive and negative half cycle of the input signal by operational amplifiers OP1 and OP2 and are synthesized by an OR circuit OR1 to obtain a PWM wave having a pulse width corresponding to the amplitude (momentary value) of the input signal. This PWM wave is divided into two in a switching control signal generating part 13, which generates a control signal for conversion of the PWM wave to a DSB wave, by a rectangular wave (clock) signal, and in this case, phases of divided outputs are inverted by the output from a zero cross detector ZD. By the switching control of switching transistors Q1 and Q2 of a switching part 16, a PWM.DSB wave is obtained in the secondary side of a transformer T11.
