CONSTITUTION:To prevent an electromagnetic wave leaking from a slit-shaped opening 11a from leaking out of a fixing device 21, a fixing function part consisting of an oscillator 15, a waveguide 11 and a cooling device 16 is surrounded with a shielding box 17, and a shielding member 18 opening and closing an entrance for paper P as a recording material and a couple of rollers 12 made of microwave absorbers 12a at a discharge opening 17b are formed.
