Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the reduction of outward emitting light by shielding high frequency electromagnetic field with a metal foil attached to a sealed container to prevent radio noise and by providing projection of visible light transmitting material on a part of the inside surface of the sealed container. CONSTITUTION:High frequency electromagnetic field is generated with an induction coil 10 by operating a high frequency oscillator 8 in a high frequency electromagnetic field generator 7, a sealed material in a sealed container 1 is activated by the electromagnetic field to emit light from the sealed container 1. A wave length converting medium 3 is coated on the entire surface of the sealed container 1 containing the surface of the visible light transmitting material 2b, a metal foil 4 is attached on the outer surface of the sealed container 1 except a connecting part of the bulb 2a to the visible light transmitting material 2b and the bottom, and the outer surface of the metal foil 4 is covered with visible light transmitting insulating material 5. A light scattering measn 6 is provided on the top of the sealed container 1 which is positioned at a part right above the visible light transmitting material 2b.
