Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a vibration phenomenon occurred at the primary and secondary coils of a saturable current transformer by providing a vibration preventing circuit for preventing a reverse current of the coils by bypassing the secondary coil of the current trasformer. CONSTITUTION:A core 53 is saturated at the point C at the time t2, and a thyristor 4 is reversely biased by a commutation capacitor 6 and is thus interrupted. A current to a load 2 flows from a power source 1 through the secondary coil 52 and the capacitor 6, and when the voltage of the capacitor 6 becomes the power voltage, an inductive load current starts flowing through a diode 3. After electromagnetic energy of the saturated core 53 is transferred to the capacitor 6 and the resistor 9, it is regenerated in the amount corresponding to the quantity higher than the power voltage VB of the capacitor 6 to the power source 1 through the vibration preventing circuits 8, 9. At this time the core 53 is moved from the point C toward the load direction, and is set to the state before the point D. Accordingly, the capacitor voltage becomes VB at the time t3 when the thyristor 4 is conducted, thereby enabling the stable intermittent operation without vibration phenomenon.
