Abstract
PURPOSE:To extend the signal transmission range, by connecting a repeating installation, by which a signal is transferred in the same phase between input and output windings of a repeating transformer of the power line, in parallel to the repeating transformer. CONSTITUTION:A signal repeating installation REP is connected in parallel to a repeating transformer TP of a power system POW. The installation REP consists of capacitors C5-C8 for signal transfer connected to a power line PL, a signal repeating transformer TE, and variable capacity capacitors VC1 and VC2 for fine adjustment of the degree of balance of the power line PL. A signal transmitter TX and a signal receiver RX are connected to the power line by capacitors C1 and C2 and capacitos C3 and C4 for signal transfer respectively and transmit and receive signals in the ground return circuit system. When capacitors C1-C8 and capacitors C11-C13 and C21-C23 and resistance R11-R23 of equivalent circuits X1 and X2 of the power line are set to satisfy equationsI and II, balance conditions of the bridge circuit are satisfied between the transmitter TX and the installation REP and between the installation REP and the receiver RX, and thus, the noise of the power line is not generated in the transmission side and the receiving side.
