Abstract

PURPOSE:To transmit signals in two ways at the same time between two sets of equipment, by using a voltage signal for a signal from one equipment, and also using a current signal for a signal from the other equipment, in the signal transmission system for which one pair of signal lines. CONSTITUTION:The transmitting and receiving equipment 1 of a type which sends out a voltage signal and detects a current signal, and the transmitting and receiving equipment of a type which sends out a current signal and detects a voltage signal are connected through the signal line 3. In this two-way signal transmitting circit, when the AC impedance which has seen the signal line 3 from the voltage variabl circuit 12, and also the AC impedance which has seen the signal line 3 from the current variable circuit 22 are set enough high and enough low, respectively, even if the respective signal sources 13 and 23 are operated at the same time, both the transmitting and receiving equipments 1 and 2 are able to detect a signal of the transmitting and receiving circuit 2 or 1 without being made to interfere by their own signals on the signal line 3, which are generated by both of them.
