Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a control apparatus sinple and reliable by a method wherein an output voltage detecting mean for a power conversion apparatus and a mean by which a voltage applied on an impeadance of a feeder circuit along a propulsion winding is simulated are provided, and a relative position is detected by these signals added and subtracted. CONSTITUTION:When a linear motor which has a propulsion winding which generates a travelling magnetic field on the side of a track and a field magnetic pole which is facing the former and gets a propelling force on a moving side is controlled, in addition to feeding through all feeders L from a power conversion apparatus CC to a propulsion winding LM, a simulating winding PC which simulate an impeadance characteristics of the feeder circuit is provided, after addition and subtraction between its terminal voltage and an output voltage of the power conversion apparatus CC at a comparing part COM, and by its multiplication with a commanded value is, the power conversion apparatus CC is controlled. Accordingly there is no need for equipping a great number of expensive position detectors, and facilitated detection of a relative position can be possible.
