Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a constant speed drive in a stable way, by recording the information signals of the wow and flutter component to a rotary member in a body and accordingly cancelling the wow and flutter component in a simple way. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 1 travels with the wow and flutter component by a capstan shaft 3 which is turned in a constant speed by a servo controlled driving motor 5. In this connection, an information signal showing the wow and flutter compoent during the travelling of the tape 1 is previously recorded to a flywheel 4. The reproduction information signal obtained by reading the above- mentioned information signal through an information reader 11 is used as a compensation signal. This compensation signal is superposed on the voltage signal supplied from a frequency-voltage converter 8 through a signal synthesizing circuit 9. Then the driving state of the motor 5 is controlled to cancel the wow and flutter component.
