Abstract
PURPOSE:To consecutively measure and detect an accurate position in high efficiency, by realizing a consecutive measurement of the distances among prescribed plural positions of detection prior to the position control of a traveling machine. CONSTITUTION:A traveling machine moves to pass through a specific ground element, and a position detection signal 7 is applied to the traveling machine. Then a signal state change detecting circuit 4 delivers a set signal to a pulse counter 2 as a count start command. Thus the counter 2 starts counting of the output pulses of a pulse generator 1. Thereafter, the 2nd signal 7 is applied to the traveling machine when it passes through the next ground element. Thus the circuit 4 delivers a reset signal. This reset signal functions as a count end command of the counter 2, and the counter 2 stops its counting action and transfers the count contents to a register 3. In this case, the operations are independent of each other amoung output devices 3, 5 and 6 plus the side of the counter 2.
