Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A titled peeling machine consisting of a freely movable carriage 4, and a transport means 6 receiving and handling cathode plates 7 from and to an electrolytic cell 5 and the carriage 4. Said carriage 4 is provided with the 1st transfer device 12 receiving the plates 7 from said means 6 and transferring the same, a peeling device peeling the electrodeposits of the plates 7 received from the device 12, the 2nd transfer device 36 receiving the peeled cathode plates and transferring the same and a controller controlling the operations of the peeling device and the devices 12, 36. The peeling of the cathode plates is automated and the manpower for the operations is reduced by the titled peeling machine.
