Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the anti-earthquake performance by furnishing a diaphragm in the lower chamber of the upper and lower rooms formed by an orifice in an anti-vibrative supporting device to be used for a car engine and thereby lessening the spring constant of this antivibrative supporting device as a whole. CONSTITUTION:The insulator rubber used 3 does not present a larger deformation in the vibration range at high frequency, but the fluid 8 in the lower chamber 7 tends to change in volume when passing an orifice 5 provided in a partition wall 4. Thereby the inner pressure of the lower chamber 7 is raised to expand a diaphragm 22. Accordingly the volume change in the lower chamber 7 is absorbed by the diaphragm 22 to prevent the fluid 8 from flowing through the orifice 5, and thereby the vibration damping effect can be suppressed low and a good anti-vibrative performance obtained. In the control range with low frequency and large amplitude, on the other hand, the insulator rubber 3 presents a large deformation and the fluid 8 in the lower chamber 7 passes through the orifice 5.
