Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify a starting mechanism by providing plural power sources each of which is equipped with each one of plural independent crankshafts and utilizing a partial power of one operating power source for starting the other power sources.
CONSTITUTION: Just before a throttle valve 59 is fully opened after a lever 61 is rotated by treading an acceleration pedal, a plate cam 70 presses a lever 73 in its motion to put a microswitch 72 into its on-position so that an electric current flows through a coil 80 of an attracting metal fitting 74 so as to narrow the interval between the throttle wires 65 and 75. Consequently, the throttle wire 65 is drawn in the direction of the throttle wire 75, the lever 61 is slightly rotated and the throttle valve is fully opened so as to accelerate the first engine 1. By bringing the switch 72 into its on-position, a clutch 42 is put into operation to connect an intermediate shaft 49 to a cranksaft 7 so that the second engine 2 is started by an output from the first engine.
