Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent high temperature hot water present in an upper part of a hot water storage tank and low temperature hot water present in a lower part thereof from mixing with each other, by connecting through a pipe and a circulating pump the upper part of the tank with a lower end of a solar heat collector and by connecting through a pipe the upper part of the solar heat collector with the lower part of the tank.
CONSTITUTION: The upper part of the hot water storage tank 1 is connected via the circulating pump 2 with the lower end of the solar heat collector 3, and the upper end of the collector 3 and the lower part of the hot water storage tank 1 are connected. The upper part of the collector 3 and the upper part of the tank 1 are provided with temperature difference sensors 6, 7 respectively. When the detected temperature of the sensor 6 is higher than the detected temperature of the sensor 7, the circulating pump 2 starts its operation. A water supplying pipe 4 is connected to the lower part of the tank 1 via an automatic water supply valve 5. Thus, since the water in the solar heat collector 3 is supplied to the lower part of the hot water storage tank 1 when the circulating pump 2 is being rotated, if cold water is supplied via the water supplying pipe 4 for example at night, the high temperature hot water and the low temperature hot water in the tank 1 will not be mixed with each other.
