Abstract

PURPOSE: To effficiently construct strong trench in a short time by a method in which a certain amount of a hardening agent is mixed with excavated soil and sand saturated with a stabilizing liquid to obtain soil and sand for back-filling, and the back-filling soil and sand are charged in such a way as to make it closely contact with the trench and accumulated on the trench area.
CONSTITUTION: An excavated trench 1 is filled with a stabilizer liquid 6 containing bentonite, etc., and the excavated soil containing the stabililzer liquid 6, excavated by an excavator 2, is sent into a mixer 10 by a belt conveyer 4 and then mixed with a hardening agent 12 to obtain back-filling soil and sand capable of holding a given consolidation and bearing force. Then, the back-filling soil and sand are charged near a trench 5 through a soil pipe 14 by means of a charger 13 in such a way as to back-fill the foundation of the trench 1 and the surrounding areas of the trench with the back-filling soil and sand.
