Abstract
PURPOSE: Wood veneers are laminated with an adhesive containing a specific iodocarboxylic acid, an aluminum salt of amine and a trialkyltin or triaryltin to produce laminated materials with high rotproof property and adhesion strength.
CONSTITUTION: To 100pts.wt. of an adhesive such as a phenol-formaldehyde resin, are added 1W100, preferably 2W50pts. of a composition composed of (A) an iodocarboxylic acid of the formula (m, n are 1W3) or its derivative other than β-iodopropionic acid and/or (B) an aluminum salt of N-nitroso-N-cyclohexyl-hydroxylamine and (C) a trialkyltine or triaryltin such as tributyltin butoxide. Then, the resultant adhesive composition is used to produce the objective laminates.
