Abstract
PURPOSE: To accumulate or discharge power for trolley wires efficiently and safely by so controlling the field coil current of a DC dynamotor as to increase its counterelectromotive force in response to the increase in the rotating speed of the dynamotor.
CONSTITUTION: A trolley wire power accumulating apparatus 6 composed of a DC machine 7 connected directly to a flywheel having large inertial energy is connected to trolley wires. A current command controller 15 outputs an added value of a set counterelectromotive force value EREF1 at the base rotating speed and a set value EREF2 increasing in response to the increase of the rotating speed in the region higher than the base rotating speed and the difference from the counterelectromotive force value EeST as a current command value IREF. A current controller 16 outputs a difference signal between the current command value IREF and the current value IFBK to a field current controller 17, and controls the field current of the field coil 8 of the DC machine 7.
