Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction caused by an instantaneous noise, by giving a delay to an output through the provision of a delay circuit at the output side of a stereo pilot signal detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output of a pilot signal detecting circuit 17 is made positive in some time due to an instantaneous noise at the operation of rotation of a channel selection knob. But, if the instantaneous noise is absent, the output of a pilot signal detecting circuit 17 is immediately zero and the output of a pilot signal detecting circuit 17 is thus zero after a give time determined with a delay circuit 22, then no positive signal is transmitted to one input terminal (a) of an AND circuit 18. Thus, the malfunction with which a light emitting diode LED of a stereo display circuit 21 illuminates due to an instantaneous noise can be avoided.
