Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase a data rate by adding an inclination control mechainsm to the secondary mirror of an infrared-ray detector on a rosette scan system. CONSTITUTION:In an infared-ray detector on a rosette scan system, a pinlike pivot 9 fitted to a secondary mirror 3c is inserted into the tapered groove of the shaft 8 of a motor 7. When the secondary mirror 3c and a wedge 4 rotate while the tip of a screw 10 is in contact with the shaft 8 and a screw 11 is separated, a visual field is scanned from a scanning point O' to a point P1 along a scanning track A1. When the polarity of a current flowing through a coil 13 is changed at the point P1, only the tip of the screw 11 meets the shaft 8 by a magnet 12 and the scanning point P1 move to a point Q1. This operation is repeated to scan scanning tracks A1 and A in the entire visual field B during the one-frame time period.
