Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of consumption of a nozzle torch and to improve its durability by providing a magnet in a concentric-circle state to the nozzle torch to give the rotating force to a plasma arc column and moving a discharging point. CONSTITUTION:When the S pole and N pole of the magnet 5 are made to the 5a side and 5b side respectively, the magnetic line of force 7 is generated. When the plasma arc column 4 intersects the magnetic line of force 7 at an angle, the Lorentz's force acts and the plasma arc column 4 and the discharging point 3 on the nozzle torch 2 are moved in the tangential direction by the Lorentz's force. The plasma arc column 4 to move in the tangential direction rotates and the discharging point 3 also moves while rotating on the nozzle torch 2 as shown by an arrow 8. By this method, the heat concentration is prevented and the cooling is accelerated while rotating and the consumption of the discharging point 3 of the nozzle torch 2 is reduced and the durability is improved.
