Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a uniform raw material for forming laver sheets by preparing a mixture solution having a higher concentration than the adequate one, and mixing the resultant mixture solution with water while measuring the concentration with a sensor.
CONSTITUTION: A minced laver is mixed with water and prepared in a preparing machine 2 to give a mixture solution having a higher concentration than the adequate one and fed to a concentration adjusting tank 1. The concentration of the mixture solution is sensed by a concentration sensor 5 consisting of a light source (5a) and a light receptor element (5b), and the mixture solution is directly fed to a laver sheet forming machine if the concentration is adequate. If the concentration is inadequate, water or a raw stock solution is fed to the adjusting tank 1 for a given time by a timer to keep the concentration at the adequate value. In case the water level is lowered in the adjusting tank 1, the level is sensed by a float switch 6 to feed the water and the stock solution simultaneously and keep the constant liquid level.
