Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve broad band or common use at multifrequncy band, by using an eliptic metallic plate and a parasistic elliptic metallic plate, in a circular polarized wave microstrip antenna. CONSTITUTION:Dielectric plates 2, 2a are provided, and a metallic base plate 3 is provided on one side of the plate 2a, an elliptic metallic plate 7 is provided on another side of the plate 2a, and they are coupled with a centering pin 4. A power supply pin 5 is provided on a straight line with an angle of 45 deg. to the long axis of the metallic plate 7 and one supply is achieved. Further, a parasitic elliptic metallic plate 8 is provided between the plates 2 and 2a so that the direction of the short and long axes is coincident. With this constitution, the metallic plate 7 energizes a frequency f1 and the metallic plate 8 energizes a frequency f2, allowing to radiate the same or different rotation of circular polarized waves. The number of sheets of the metallic plates 8 is increased for broad band or multifrequency band common use.
