PURPOSE:To transport the oil filled electric equipment which is required to be transported in the state oil is completely filled by simple manipulation without imparing reliability by removing a float of a dial oil level gage from a rubber bag and fixing it during transportation. CONSTITUTION:A pocket 10 which encloses the float 6 of the dial oil level gage 8 is provided at the bottom of a conservator. A float locking device 11 which can be externally operated is provided in said pocket 10. When the performance test of a transformer has been completed under the normal state, the oil level of an insulating oil 5 in the conservator box 1 is lowered, the float 6 and a rod 7 are enclosed in the pocket 10 as shown by a broken line. The enclosed float 6 and the rod 7 are fixed by a float fixing metal of the device 11 during the transportation. Since the rubber bag 3 and the float 6 are completely separated, the damages of the oil level gage 8, the float 6, and the rubber bag 3 can be prevented even though the oil surface is swayed due to the waves during the transportation.
