PURPOSE:To improve low pressure fixability and provide developability of good durability by making a pressure fixing toner contg. a copolymer consisting basically of a homopolymer of ethylene, and graft-polymerized with an aromatic vinyl monomer and acrylonitrile. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer consisting basically of polyethylene of 2,000- 1,000,000mol.wts. and graft polymerized with 10-70wt% acrylonitrile and 20- 60wt% an aromatic vinyl monomer (styrene, alkyl styrene, etc.) at 5-70wt% thereof is made. A toner contg. necessary materials such as magnetic powder, pigments, electric charge control agents and the like in a binder resin contg. >=50wt% said graft copolymer is produced. The resultant toner is superior in pressure fixability, is good in developability in repetivitive copying and provides sharp images free from photographic fogs without melt sticking on sleeves and photoreceptors.
