Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a red image from an original having a red part, a red seal or the like by using a toner contg. a copolymer of styrene and n-butyl methacrylate and a red pigment having an azo group. CONSTITUTION:Styrene and n-butyl methacrylate are copolymerized in about 6:4- 8:2 wt. ratio. This copolymer is kneaded with a 5-10wt% red dye having an azo group, e.g., the dye of the formula, and the kneaded material is pulverized to obtain a toner. Using this toner, a copy having a red image part with sufficient red density and high weather resistance is obtd. from an original having a red part by a dichromatic image forming method.
