Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a device to perform the rotatable support of the end of a leaf spring made of fiber-reinforced plastic, by providing a recessed part at the end of the leaf spring and expanded parts between both the sides of the recessed part and using the support pins of a suppot support member to pinch-hole the end of the leaf spring. CONSTITUTION:Leaf springs 1 made of fiber-reinforced plastic are piled up and fixedly tightened on an axle 4 with a pad 2 by U-bolts 3. A recessed part 5b is provided at the end 5a of the uppermost leaf spring 5 by integral shaping. Two expanded parts 5c, 5d of almost circular cross section are provided at both the sides of the recessed part 5c so that the end 5a is shaped as a cocoon. The recessed part 5b is pinch-held by two support pins 7, 8 attached to a support member 6 such as a bracket. The support members 6, 11 prevent the leaf spring 5 from going out in the transverse direction. The expanded parts 5c, 5d, 5g, 5h prevent the leaf spring 5 from going out in the longitudinal direction. The ends 5a, 5e are swingably supported.
