Abstract

PURPOSE:To attempt the provision of a simple constitution with riding comfort improved by connecting a pair of shock absorbing devices symmetrically from right to left in the transverse direction of a vehicle while the opposite ends thereof are connected by a connecting member so as to be relatively tilted freely in the subject device consisting of coil springs and linearly slidable hydraulic dampers. CONSTITUTION:A pair of a right and a left shock absorber 20 and 20 is arranged within the channel shaped section opened downward of a subframe 17 in such a way that the axial line thereof shall be in the transverse direction of a vehicle symmetrically from right to left with respect to the body center of the vehicle. And a pivot section 19a is formed at each inner end section of dampers 19 respectively for letting each of the pivot sections 19a be connected together via a connecting member 21 made of a material with a low compliance value such as, for example, an iron member and the like. However, the pivot sections 19a are pivotally mounted onto the subframe 17 via a rubber bushes 22 with a high compliance value. This constitution enables the attempt in providing a simple constitution with riding comfort improved.
