CONSTITUTION:A water-base dispersant solution, which contains a particular amide compound, such as stearyl (p-methoxycarbonyl) benzoyl amide which is shown by the formula (R is alkyl of C1-4), and a binder for undercoat layer, is applied and dried to form an undercoat layer on a supporting body such as paper and plastics, and then, another water-base dispersant solution, which contains a leuco-base binder such as a triphenyl methane type dyestuff, is applied and dried to form a heat-sensing-and-coloring layer. At this time, by making at least one of these aqueous dispersant solutions contain an acidic substance, such as boric acid, oxalic acid or phenolic substance, it is possible to improve thickness of image while preventing a head from sticking of scum.
