Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare the titled sheet excellent in color forming sensitivity, storage stability, and whiteness retainability as well as light resistance of a coloring dye, by adding a specific ester to a mixture of a color forming lactone compound and an acidic substance as an agent for improving color forming sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid composed of (A) a color forming lactone compound (e.g., 3-diethylamino-7-chlorofuran), (B) an acidic substance (e.g., 4-phenylphenol) and (C) phenyl salicylate (wherein the phenyl group can be replaced with 1-8C alkyl), methyl ester, ethyl ester and/or phenyl ester of 0-hydroxynaphthoic acid as an agent for improving color forming sensitivity is applied on a sheet base material (e.g., paper) so that preferably the amount of ingredient A becomes 0.1-0.6g per 1m<2>. It is preferable that for 100pts.wt. ingredient A, 500- 2,500pts.wt. ingredient B may be used and for 100pts.wt. ingredient B, 1-50pts. wt. ingredient C may be used.
