1457374 Coating E HOLTZMANN & CIE AG 19 Now 1974 [20 Nov 1973] 50152/74 Heading B2E An embossable, single-coated or multicoated print carrier, suitable for wallpaper to be printed by gravure printing or flexographic printing, comprises a base material which has at least one coating which consists of pigments and binders and at least one coating that has been applied with a trailing blade, the specific volume of the print carrier being greater than 1.2 cm<SP>3</SP>/g. The base material may be a conventional, machine-glazed wall raw-paper or a board and it may be glazed on one side. The coating(s) may be brushed immediately after application.
