Abstract

PURPOSE:To erase a picture information efficiently and uniformly, by arranging a heating roller in the neighborhood of a displaying body which is capable of recording and erasing information reversibly by heating and cooling. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensing body is formed by laminating on a plastic or glass substrate a heat-sensing body, consisting of a matrix material and an organic low molecular substance, to a film thickness of 5-50mum, preferably of 10-30mum. A picture displaying body 1 is shifted by being made to contact a heated roller 10. While shifting on this hot roller 10, this picture displaying body 1 is heated and held by the hot roller 10. And then, when the picture displaying body 1 is cooled, a transparent portion of the indicating body 1, which is a recorded picture information, becomes in a white-cloudy state and erased, and all the sections of the picture displaying body having passed on the hot roller 10 become white-cloudy state entirely and uniformly, and therefore, it is possible to record and erase picture information efficiently with simple operations.
