Abstract

PURPOSE:To erase uniformly a picture information recorded in a picture displaying body, by soaking the picture displaying body, having a heat-sensing body of a particular property, in a liquid bath and heating it. CONSTITUTION:While running a picture displaying body 3, the entire surface of which is in a white-cloudy state, a heat-and-record device 4 is made to contact the indicating body 3. The part of a picture displaying body 8, which was selectively heated and made to contact a head, becomes transparent, and a dot-like picture information is recorded in a white-cloudy base as the transparent section. And then, in the picture displaying body 3, the part in which the picture information is recorded is further shifted to have the information read between the heat-and-record device 4 and a pulley 7, and then, it is soaked in a liquid bath of 80 deg.C or higher through the pulley 7. When it is cooled at the room temperature after having been heated, the part in which the picture information is recorded becomes a uniformly white-cloudy state, and the picture information is erased. The picture displaying body 3 is further shifted to get its water content removed by a squeeze roller 9, and after passing through a pulley 6, it is again returned to the heat-and-record device section.
