Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the circulatin of thermal effluents to an intake port and also the taking-in of jellyfish by providing the cooling water intake and discharge ports of a steam power plant, etc., in one group in the same place under the surface of sea water in such a way that the cooling can be discharged with high speeds in jet stream form and can also be taken in with moderate speeds.
CONSTITUTION: In a revertment 2 leading to the sea bed 1, a group of an intake pipe 4' with an intake port 4 and an outlet pipe 5' with an outlet 5 is buried by prositioning the intake port 4 and the outlet port 5 under the surface WL of the sea, where the intake port 4 is placed in the lower stage and the outlet port 5 is in the upper stage.
