Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform aeration with small power consumption, by sliding two porous members relative to each other while in face contact with each other, and feeding a gas thereby minuted into a liquid.
CONSTITUTION: Two porous members 3, 8 made of sintered metal, ceramics or the like and having a plurality of through holes are arranged in face contact with each other, and these porous members 3, 8 are slided along the contact plane relative to each other. A gas-feed pipe 12 is connected to the one porous member 8 to discharge gas through fine holes 7. The gas flow is repeatedly intercepted by the other porous member 3. As a result, the gas is minuted and discharged into water, to make effective aeration possible with a small power consumption.
