Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform emission of a laser beam stably by a method wherein one end of an inductor inserted between auxiliary discharge electrode is connected to the main discharge electrde, and another end thereof is earthed through another inductor. CONSTITUTION:A node between an inductor 1 and a capacitor 2 for the main discharge electric power source circuit and a node between a capacitor 8 and the inductor 6 for an auxiliary discharge circuit are connected through a inductor 11 adding to the traditional circuit. At the same time, a terminal of the inductor 6 being different from the node thereof is connected to a terminal of the inductor 7 and is inserted between a DC high voltage electric power source. Accordingly the main discharge electrode becomes to have 42KV, and the auxiliary discharge electrode to have 4KV, for example, and electric potential difference between the auxiliary discharge electrode 31 and the main discharge electrode 26 is reduced to 8KV, and electric potential difference between the auxiliary discharge electrode 39 and the electrode 26 is reduced to 42KV. Accordingly discharge between the auxiliary discharge electrode and the main discharge electrode and the main discharge electrode is not generated, and laser emission can be performed stably.
