Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress any variation in the arrangement state of a plate group by vibrating a slanted plate group inserted in a plate-group holder so as to make sides of the positive and the negative plates and the separators to be arranged on a positioning plate, and beating back the protruding separators after the plate group is brought back into a horizontal state. CONSTITUTION:A plate group 3 consisting of negative plates 3a, positive plates 3b and separators 4 is inserted in a bookstand-like plate-group holder 1, which is set on a vibrating board 6. After the board 6 is slanted, up-and-down vibrations are given to the plate group 3 by making an electromagnetic or air vibrator 5 to work so as to enable the negative and the positive plates 3a and 3b and the separators 4 to easily move in lateral direction. At the same time, a separator beating plate 8 moves back and forth in lateral direction so as to make the separators 4 to be pressed on a positioning plate 7 and to make sides of the separators 4 to be arranged on the plate 7. Following that, the board 6 is brought back into a horizontal state, and the protruding sides of the separators 4 are beaten with the plate 8, while holding the lags of the negative and the positive plates 3a and 3b, so that the separators 4 are moved back by a given dimension, thereby making the negative and the positive plates 3a and 3b and the separators 4 to be arranged in a normal positional relation.
