Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation of installing and ejecting a battery, and realize secured holding of different types of batteries by moving a battery carrying member and a terminal supporting member in given directions in connection with the shifting movement of a sliding member installed in a base body. CONSTITUTION:A base body 15 fixed to a cabinet or the like, is provided with a sliding member 16 in such a manner that the member 16 installed in the body 15 is movable. A battery carrying member 17 and a terminal supporting member 18 are interlocked with the sliding member 16, so that a dry cell 1 of varying size can be held satisfactorily. The base body 15 consists of a bottom plate 20 and a pair of side plates 21; the member 16, a bottom plate 31 and a pair of side plates 32. The battery carrying member 17 and the terminal supporting member 18 are provided with columnar projections 40 and 43, which are fitted in cam ditches 35 and 36 provided on the side plates 32, as well as in vertical guide ditches 26 and <form guide ditches 27 provided on the body 15. When the member 16 is slid, the member 17 moves up and down, while the member 18 moves in every direction in connection with the movement of the member 16.
