And, both are integrally combined by welding, and the assembly is fixed to a piston base by bolts and screws 1c provided to the cap bottom plate 1b. And, the long axis l2 of the cross section of the cap body 1a is almost matched with the longitudinal direction of a crank shaft, where no falling of piston may occur, and also the short axis l1 of the body 1a is almost matched with the direction of crossing the longitudinal direction of the crank shaft, where the piston is liable to fall.
