Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform a cmbustion of garbage without disturbing a fluidization of a fluidized bed even though the garbage is not crushed in advance by a method wherein an incinerator having a fluidized bed rotating in a vertical plane is employed while a supplying device having two parallel screws of which inter-axes distance may be adjusted is used.
CONSTITUTION: In a conveyor case 20 to which a hopper 4 is connected, a garbage outlet 17 is arranged at one end thereof and a discharging port 18 for non-combustibles is arranged at the other end thereof. The garbages are rolled into a space between the vanes 23, 24 and a shaft and then crushed under a rotation of the two screws 21, 22 of which twisting directions are opposite to each other and finally thrown into an incinerator 6 from the outlet 17. When large sized garbage or non-combustibles in lumps are fed into the case, the inter- axes distance or space is widened so as to cause the screws 21, 22 to be rotated in an opposite direction and to feed the foreign substances in an opposite direction and finally they are discharged from the discharging port 18. The incinerator is constructed such that its fluidized bed is rotated or turned in a vertical plane.
